155 venues on the GOV.UK approved premises list have names that suggest a register office, town hall, guildhall or council ceremony room. The statutory register office room is not always on the approved list, so also check your council. National statutory fees from 6 April 2026: ceremony £62, notice £46.50 each, certificate £12.50 (Registration Fees (Amendment) Regulations 2026 (legislation.gov.uk)).
