Registrar fees at approved venues

Carmarthenshire County Council’s fee for registrars to attend a ceremony at a licensed venue: £545 Monday to Thursday, £605 Friday and Saturday, £655 Sunday and bank holidays, including a meeting with the registrar beforehand and a personalised ceremony script. A non-refundable booking fee is deducted from the final balance, certificates are £12.50 each, and the council says fees may change and you pay the rate for your ceremony date. The page prints no year, and the council’s ceremony venues page still gives an older range of £520 to £635. On top of that you each pay the national notice fee. Venue hire is always separate.
